Hua Beach
This beach has much more going for it than neighbouring Rayee Beach. It is a beautiful, secluded and very quiet place.
There is a single shack serving refreshments. A nice old couple run it. They do not speak any English but are friendly. They also make an effort to keep the beach clean. There are no other buildings on the beach. A few tourists find this restaurant but mostly they serve local visitors and fishermen.
There are no sun loungers or water sports.
The beach is sandy but a little gravelly. The seabed is sandy with rocks. The water is deep enough to do a little snorkeling and there are plenty of fish.
Casuarinas and coconut palms ring the beach. It is in a small bay with views across to Kamala Beach, Laem Sing and Surin.
How to Get There
This is the second beach you come to in the headland south of Kamala. Drive along the Kamala beach road to the south end and turn right. Drive passed Rayee Beach and you will quickly come to a sign pointing down a track to Hua Beach. Park your vehicle and walk down the 200 meter track.
