Trisara Beach
This is another beach where a hotel has blocked land access. This time it is the Trisara. It is a very upmarket hotel - one of the plushest in Phuket. We do them the honour of naming the beach after them as its original name seems to be wiped from the record books.
With access denied us, we are forced to describe the beach from second hand accounts.
Generally the beach is not the best. It is not the main attraction of the hotel which provides a private pool to every villa.
The beach is powdery white sand. However there are rocks and corals close to shore that mean the beach is not well suited to bathing. The hotel provides a 45m salt water lap pool next to the beach.
The small bay is a little shallow but when the tide is in, it is possible to snorkel.
How to Get There
The beach is just a little north of Bang Tao Beach and Layan Beach. If you don't book into the hotel then you have to take a boat - but you will not get a warm and friendly welcome.
